A year and a half and several press mischeva later, the CISA3 powers that be have finally decided to let some of the beautiful vis research results from our data collection and diagnostic structural processing of the Baptistery be released to the public.

The end result was worth every night and early morning collecting the data, even if the attribution and voice over are a bit wonky (most of this data was from two field seasons ago, not just this last one—and it was a massive team of us, not just the two wonderful Mike’s). But it’s all a part of the grand science communication issues Open Access Antiquarianism wants to streamline and make fabulous.
