The Center of Interdisciplinary Science for Art, Architecture, and Archaeology (CISA3) had the first student run Open Night in February of 2013, spearheaded by yours truly with the wonderful especial assistance of Vid Petrovic and John Mangan. A grand presentation of the various visualization pretties we concocted to represent our individual research projects, the CISA3 students successfully navigated the halls and screens of the California Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technology (Calit2) to show off their latest research. This was also the premiere CISA3 event for CURII participation at an official level- with CURIIs guiding guests between viewing venues.
To view fabulous Calit2 photographer Alex Matthew’s coverage of the event, check out his Flick album for the February 2013 Open Night. (Vid looks particularly pirate-y and it is therefore well worth a look)
